This includes access to bespoke visits to galleries, art fairs and museum collections and exhibitions; market research which is relevant to the collector’s interests, and in-depth analysis of international auction offerings.

Acting on behalf of buyers, we identify and access unique opportunities. We advise on private sales and auction purchases, drawing on connoisseurship, professional due-diligence and commercial acumen to ensure our client’s interests are always protected.

Our services include in-person viewings on behalf of clients, managing sale negotiation, full due diligence on artworks, condition checking with trusted conservators and assisting with bidding at auction.

Acting on behalf of sellers, we start with a consultation and collection review and valuation. Works can be consigned for private sale or exhibition with John Swarbrooke Fine Art and researched and presented to the highest standard. We can negotiate consignment with longstanding colleagues in the art world, where it better suits the client’s interests.

Our ongoing collection management advises on sale management and logistics, museum loans, insurance, research and inventory production, framing and conservation, art market reports and long-term collection planning.
