John Swarbrooke Fine Art was established in 2021 and works with buyers and sellers of art with a focus on 20th and 21st-century art, as well as presenting exhibitions through the year in London. The gallery is a member of The Society of London Art Dealers.

Founded on a straightforward approach coupled with art historical rigour, the gallery works with collectors, museums and private foundations to help grow long-term collections.

The gallery frequently exhibits in London, including at Frieze Cork Street, Stephen Ongpin Fine Art and at art fairs. We have placed work with the British Museum and have negotiated museum loans for private collectors to institutions including Charleston, Sussex and Mount Stuart, on the Isle of Bute.

John Swarbrooke joined Sotheby’s Impressionist and Modern Art department in 2012. In 2015 he was appointed a Specialist in Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art at Simon Dickinson gallery.
